Circe's Reprisal

Circe is a wonderful character from Greek Mythology. An independent woman living on her own island, she had some pretty hefty powers and seems best remembered for changing a captain and his crew into swine after they misbehaved while visiting her. Shown here, casting her spell from the ocean with her trusty bag of magical potions on her hip.

My challenge was to find a pose that would convey a fearsome intensity that could believably launch a powerful, transforming spell.
